MBACC Presents Virtual Session on Microaggressions

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council will present the virtual program, Microaggressions, Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. This is the fourth session in our Educated Voices On Leading and Valuing Equity (EVOLVE) Series, a series of monthly education sessions covering topics on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Microaggressions are indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a marginalized group. Atiya Stokes-Brown, vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion at Coastal Carolina University, will lead this session.
