MBACC Presents Virtual Seminar on Unconscious and Implicit Bias

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council will present the virtual program, Unconscious and Implicit Bias, Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. This is the third session in our Educated Voices On Leading and Valuing Equity (EVOLVE) Series, a series of monthly education sessions covering topics on diversity, equity and inclusion.

This session explains what unconscious and implicit biases are and what we can do about them. It is presented by Bob Wallace with Webster University Myrtle Beach.
 
Bob Wallace is an organization development consultant who has worked with Fortune 50 organizations for the past 30 years. He specializes in organization assessment, team building, leadership, diversity, transition management, and executive coaching. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University.
