FirstService Residential, the leading residential property management company in North America, announced that Chelsa Fenner, senior community manager, has received her Professional Community Association Manager designation issued by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). The PCAM certification is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management.
Managers who have achieved this designation know how to preserve the character of the community, protect property values, meet a board’s expectations and build a true sense of community.
“We’re thrilled that Chelsa has achieved this level in her career,” said Michael Mendillo president, FirstService Residential. “Chelsa continues to be an asset to FirstService Residential, going above and beyond every day for our clients’ properties.”
Fenner started with FirstService Residential right out of college and has been with the company for close to 7 years. She brings a strong operational background, coupled with powerful leadership and mentoring skills, to her role.
“It’s been wonderful to see Chelsa grow in her career. She is a wonderful addition to our team and a very strong contributor. Her attainment of this certification simply validates the hard work and results she has brought to the organization,” said Dennis Abbott, president, Carolinas, FirstService Residential. “It better positions FirstService Residential and Chelsa to understand the unique aspects and needs of the communities we manage.”
"I’m so excited to have earned by PCAM," said Fenner. “I truly strive to be the best I can be, professionally, and this designation confirms my industry knowledge and dedication to my career. I’m so appreciative of all of the support and encouragement I received from my FirstService Residential family.”
