The Helpers Fund Receives $20,000 Donation to Support COVID-19 Response at Tidelands Health

The Vandy Charitable Foundation has donated $20,000 to support Tidelands Health and its medical professionals serving the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The foundation donated to The Helpers Fund to support the health system’s mission and make an immediate and lasting impact on the delivery of health care in the community.
“The compassionate health care professionals at Tidelands Health need our support now more than ever during these uncertain times,” said Dawn Pate, trustee of the Vandy Charitable Foundation. “We are honored to provide assistance to these heroes as they sacrifice to serve our community.”
Donations to The Helpers Fund will help purchase needed equipment and supplies, provide assistance for Tidelands Health team members, support the delivery of care for the uninsured and medically underserved and more.
The Vandy Charitable Foundation has been a long-time supporter of the Tidelands Health Foundation, which works in concert with the health system to provide new technologies, convenient facilities and increased access to health care services in the region.
“The Vandy Charitable Foundation has come through once again to support our team at Tidelands Health with this generous donation,” said Jessica Sasser, executive director of the Tidelands Health Foundation. “We are grateful for the foundation’s continued support, especially during this challenging time.”
Those wishing to give to The Helpers Fund can donate any amount they choose or select amounts between $5 and $2,500 to see a representation of how their donation may be used.
