South Carolina Unemployment Claims are Lowest Since Pandemic Began

Initial Claims: For claim week ending August 8, 2020, the number of South Carolinians who filed their initial claim for unemployment insurance benefits is 5,921, a decrease of 2,988 initial claims from the week prior. This brings the initial claims total to 712,449 received since mid-March.

Gov. Henry McMaster Takes Additional Action to Slow Virus Spread
