Cyber Academy of South Carolina to Hold Graduation Ceremony

Cyber Academy of South Carolina, an accredited, full-time online public charter school, serving students in grades K-12, will celebrate the Class of 2017 at a graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 10th.

Sixty-three high school seniors will graduate from CASC, which is open to all students who reside in South Carolina. CASC offers an individualized approach to learning, using engaging curriculum to ensure every student receives an exceptional learning experience.

The school’s rigorous curriculum includes courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as elective and Advanced Placement® courses for high school students. CASC also has partnerships with colleges around the state so that high school students have the opportunity to earn college credit. Qualifying students have the ability to access the Advanced Learners program.

Mayme-Elizabeth Medlock is CASC’s Class of 2017 valedictorian. Brayden Wommack and Nia Bartyzel are the co-salutatorians. Medlock plans to attend Clemson University and Bartyzel plans to attend York Technical College.

Other members of the graduating class plan to attend colleges and universities including: Alfred University, Florence-Darlington Technical College, Charleston Southern University, Trident Technical College, Greenville Technical College, North Greenville University and The Citadel—The Military College of South Carolina.
