Columbia partner Weston Adams, III has been elected to E4 Carolinas Board of Directors and will serve in this role until 2021. He will also co-chair the Policy Task Force for E4 Carolinas, along with George Baldwin of Baldwin Consulting and Jeff Merrifield of Pillsbury Law.

Charlotte-based E4 Carolinas aims to attract and keep major energy companies and industry leaders coming to North Carolina and South Carolina. Their goal, according to the organization, is to accelerate economic growth, employment, productivity, and prosperity as a result. As a board member and co-chair of the policy task force, Adams will weigh in on topics related to energy policy.

Adams is co-chair of the firm's Energy Industry Group and focuses his practice in environmental, energy, and appellate law.
