Groundbreaking for New Medical Park in Horry County
Friday, August 11th, 2017
Tidelands Health will formally break ground on Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common Noon on Thursday, Aug. 17, a $44 million project that will help address the increasing need for high-quality medical care in fast-growing Horry County. The three-story, 65,000-square-foot building will employ at least 100 people and is the most significant construction project undertaken by Tidelands Health since the opening of Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in 2002.
The goal of the project is to provide convenient access to needed primary and specialty care within Horry County, one of the fastest-growing areas of the country. An estimated 75,000 people live within five miles of the medical park site.
The new medical park will offer multiple physician offices, physical therapy, pain management, laboratory services and more
